The Artist
I’m a self-taught mixed media artist born and raised in Bay City, Michigan. Creativity has always been my strong suit, and I’m happiest when I’m making something with my hands.
Growing up surrounded by the Great Lakes gave me a deep appreciation for nature, and that connection continues to influence much of my work.
I enjoy working across a wide range of mediums, including acrylic painting, graphic design, photography, digital collage, stone mosaics, ceramics, woodworking, illustration, and custom hand-tufted rugs. I don’t believe in limiting myself to a single style or medium. Every new project is an opportunity to learn, experiment, and create something meaningful.
When I’m not in the studio, you’ll usually find me outdoors, spending time on the water, hiking, cooking, baking, or playing drums and guitar. I grew up skateboarding, and that same curiosity and creativity still shape the way I approach my work today.
“No matter the medium, my goal is simple: to create artwork that feels genuine, tells a story, and reflects my love for Michigan, the Great Lakes, and the natural world.”

Process without boundaries
One artist.
Many materials.
Eric’s work moves freely between fine art, design, craft, and functional objects. The material changes. The curiosity stays the same.
