Brooke Strieter is a Michigan artist, professional photographer, graphic designer, and entrepreneur whose work is shaped by a lifelong connection to movement, speed, adventure, and the Great Lakes.

Raised in a family deeply rooted in Michigan’s automotive industry, Brooke developed an early appreciation for craftsmanship and the people who keep Michigan moving.

Whether adventuring by plane, motorcycle, snowmobile, or sea, she has always been drawn to the freedom of the open road, open water, and the places discovered along the way. She has traveled thousands of nautical miles throughout the Great Lakes, the Atlantic Ocean, and America’s inland waterways—experiences that continue to influence her creative work.

Brooke and her husband, Shawn, are the owners and operators of S&B Marine and Powersports, servicing the Great Lakes Bay Region with marine and snowmobile repair.

She is also the founder of Lake Effect Labs MI, where she combines photography, illustration, and graphic design to create bold, place-driven artwork rooted in Michigan and the Great Lakes Basin.

Brooke and Shawn are proud parents to a blended family of four children, along with Winter, their mini husky. Together, they have built a life centered on family, creativity, hard work, and adventure.
