Observation
Meets Imagination

McKenna Glazier is a 21-year-old self-taught artist from Michigan and a student studying pre-med neuroscience at Saginaw Valley State University.

Born and raised in the Great Lakes Basin region, she has always been inspired by its natural beauty and enjoys exploring it through hiking, photography, and creating art that captures its charm.

Working across a variety of media, including acrylics, oil paints, and colored pencils, McKenna primarily creates realistic artwork that captures the landscapes, wildlife, and details of the world around her.

She also enjoys creating cartoon-style illustrations, embracing both technical and creative expressions in her artwork.

Although her future career lies in the medical field, McKenna intends to continue creating art as a lifelong passion, using it as a way to express creativity, connect with others, and celebrate the natural world that inspires her work.

“Art allows her to study the world closely, celebrate its smallest details, and share the natural beauty that continues to inspire her.”
